
The Tango Society of
St.
Louis was founded in June of year 1998 and incorporated in 2001 and
is a non-for-profit
organization.
The purpose of The Tango Society is to promote the art and culture of
The
Tango from Argentina, South America, by presenting specific educational
and social Tango events to the community. Membership is
open
to all for a modest donation of $25.00 per year and runs from
June to June. In return, members may be allowed discounted
tickets

In addition, the Tango Society offers
monthly Tango Dances.
The Tango Society of St. Louis hosts outstanding functions, and, your membership helps to sustain these funtions. Members are entitled to many discouns. (Members must purchase tickets in advance)

The Tango Society of

Louis is proud to be part of "First
Night" in St. Louis and present another Fabulous Floor Show at The Sheldon,
3648 Washington Blvd. in
St.
Louis, December 31, 2007. This
year's theme is "Strictly Tango." From 7:00pm to 8:00pm, one will enjoy
beautifully choreographed dances and a first time appearance of special
Vocal/Guitar ensemble from Uruguay! There will be Tango Dancing for all following
